Coordinators
“Coordinators” are volunteers who make local, small groups (aka chapters) possible. Coordinators need not be experts on any subject, but are simply people who care enough to take action.
The prime responsibility of coordinators is to serve as a central, local, communication hub for members, and to facilitate group meetings, locations for meetings, and related issues.
Coordinators and local chapters are encouraged to be creative, supportive, and fun-filled.
Meetings need not be dry, stuffy, business-type meetings dominated by a reading of the minutes or fund raising issues. Significant unstructured times for personal and social interactions are encouraged.
Suggestions for meeting activities and general support for coordinators is available via email, soon-to-be-added sections of this website, telephone, and sometimes personal visits.
